First I\u2019m going to list some of the biggest mistakes people make when they\u2019re just getting started:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They don\u2019t have a realistic idea of whether or not anyone will buy their product or service<\/li>\n<li>They don\u2019t have a clear definition of their target market<\/li>\n<li>They don\u2019t have a workable marketing plan<\/li>\n<li>They spend too much money on equipment, product development, advertising, and web site design before they ever make a sale<\/li>\n<li>They spend too little on professional help in the areas that will give them a<br \/>\nstrong foundation for their business (accounting, legal, insurance)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With today\u2019s technology, starting a business is a whole different ball game than it was just a few years ago.  The Internet makes it possible for you to easily test your business ideas before you spend a lot of money.  If you know how.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the key.
