I recommend these resources for your business.
In my opinion, these resources provide excellent value for the price. I use them myself in my business and on my web sites.

Web Hosting Service
The shared hosting plans at Hostgator have all the features most small businesses will ever need. They have tools that make it easy to start and maintain your web site. And they have Fantastico (the name describes it perfectly) which helps you automatically install many popular and useful add-ons. You may still need a techie for some advanced stuff, but you should be able to do all the basics yourself. Pay by the month; no contract required.
I started using Blue Host when I developed my newest web site. Their features are comparable to Hostgator. They use simple scripts instead of Fantastico, but you still get a super simple one-click install for your WordPress blog and/or web site. Their fees are slightly less than $84/year.
You can host unlimited domains for that price, just as you can on Hostgator. They currently do not offer a monthly payment option.
Email Marketing/Autoresponder Servce
There are lots of options for this kind of service and I’ve tried more than half a dozen different ones over the past 10 years. Until just recently I used aWeber because of its outstanding combination of features, pricing, and customer service. For my newest project, I’ve switched to MailChimp only because I couldn’t get aWeber to play nicely with one of my e-commerce plugins. It doesn’t have all the same features as aWeber (like the ability to schedule actual delivery times), but it’s free for small lists (1000 names and 3000 emails per month), so you might want to try it!
