Big, deal, you say? So what?
After working all day at your “regular” job and taking care of other responsibilities, you barely have time for family or friends or that fitness program you resolved to keep up with this year. How on earth would you ever have time to do anything about making money on-line?
You’d have to quit your “day” job and there’s no chance of that happening any time soon, what with “The Economy” and all. Case closed. On-line money-making ventures will just have to wait.
Is that true? Or is your “I’m just too busy” reason only an excuse?
Your thought that it will take too long to learn (and then do) everything that’s required to start an on-line business is just that, a thought. You can’t be 100% positive that it’s true. Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t. If you believe that you don’t have time and you focus on that thought, then you probably won’t have time.
But if instead, you choose to think that you do have time, you probably will.
The beauty of the Internet being available all the time means that you can work with it when it’s convenient for you. And so can your prospects, customers, and clients. You both don’t have to be on-line at the same time to do business. With today’s technology you can also connect quickly and with folks across the country and across the globe.
You have access to an enormous supply of potential vendors, employees, consultants, affiliates and business partners. My QuickBooks video tutorial CD set was put together last summer by collaborating with an eBay education specialist and author, a producer of on-line training media, and a successful web business owner and seller. We live in three different states separated by three different time zones.
We’ve never met in person. All of our work together was done on-line.
Another fabulous benefit of the Internet is that there’s a lot of good training material available in downloadable mp3 format. That means you can put the information on your favorite portable audio player and listen to it while you drive to work, walk the dog, or workout at the gym.
