Are You Moving Forward With Your Business?

I always feel like the beginning of Spring is a great time to evaluate my business plans, goals, and aspirations. Time to take stock of what’s working, what’s not, what I can do better, how else I can help clients and prospects. I began that process about two weeks ago and will continue with it at least until I take off for 10 days of Spring break with my granddaughter early next month.

You’ve probably noticed the early results of my reorganization…titles and taglines have changed, graphics and logos have been added, posts and pages have moved around here on my blog and now it’s also linked to my other web site for the Business Startup Success Club.

My main objectives are:

  • to provide more products and services to assist you in starting and developing your business
  • to make it easier for you to quickly find what you need on my blogs and web sites

If you have any suggestions for how I can improve in either of these areas, please let me know. Feel free to call, email, @ or DM me on Twitter, whichever is easiest for you.

Right now there are several ways I provide you with free information:

  • blog posts (to subscribe to posts and/or comments, just click one of the icons near the top right hand side of the page, just above the search box)
  • Twitter updates (follow me on Twitter)
  • Internet radio program (listen on-line Wednesdays at 8:30 PM Eastern, text chat available)

In mid-April, I’ll begin offering free introductory consulting sessions (one to a customer, please) to those of you who want to get to know me better and also get an idea of how we could work together. These will be private, on-line phone calls/meetings. Watch the blog for more details. If you’re ready to schedule an appointment, send me an email to get the process started.

Starting May 1st, I’ll be adding in person, face-to-face introductory sessions for folks in the Indianapolis area. These will be held on the first Friday afternoon of the month. You can email me for more information.

I’m moving forward with my business and I’d like to help you do the same. I’d really appreciate hearing from you about what you need.

How can I help you move forward with your business? Please take a minute to leave a comment with your answer to one or more of these questions:

  • What’s the biggest hurdle you’re facing in building your business?
  • What’s the most important tool you need right now to help you in your business?
  • What type of organized training program would benefit you most?

Just launched a new social network website, its been hard work and long hours of dedication for the preparation. Staying focused and determination has help keep me afloat. My biggest hurdle right now is marketing, reaching the right audience and their interest. I need all the tools for marketing ideas.
There is so much information on the web. To move forward I need to stay focused and have the mindset to establish the success. This was very helpful information. Add value to social networking at http://determined2.com where members can more effectively work on lifestyle and resolutions

Be committed to your business, stay focused, have the determination, and perseverance to move forward.

    Thanks for your comment.

I think that marketing is usually a big challenge for small business owners. That’s why I recommend doing as much research as possible before launching a new product, service, or web site. One of the best ways to find out what people want (and are willing to buy at what price) is simply to ask, like I’m doing here on the blog.

You can also ask questions via email newsletter if you have one (consider starting one if you don’t) or surveys (SurveyMonkey is a great free tool, easy to use).

To reach your target audience, you have to hang out at the same places they do (on-line or offline).

One of my favorite places for useful marketing advice is John Jantsch’s site called DuctTapeMarketing.

And, of course, you can use other social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. Check out the FB group Social Networking for Business Women and follow @Lesley_Johnston on Twitter.
