What’s Wrong With This Deposit Slip?

Do you notice anything strange about this deposit slip? I’ll give you a clue. Look carefully at what’s not on it.

Here’s a copy of the back of the deposit slip. I had only one item to deposit—an affiliate commission check for one of the services I use and recommend. You’ll notice that I filled it out with an abbreviation for the payor.

If you know me at all or have read past issues of my technology tips newsletter, then you know I’m a stickler for doing things the easiest way possible, saving keystrokes (or in this instance penstrokes) whenever I can.

So what’s the deal? Did I goof up? Am I losing my touch?

Did my trusted assistant prepare the paperwork for me?

Or is it something else? Whaddya think? Leave your comment below.
