31 Days of Wishes-Day 8

My eighth wish is to develop partnerships with some of the Internet’s top affiliate marketers and consultants for distribution of the content I’ve developed for the Business Startup Success Club. I believe that affiliate marketing is a great business model for home-based startups.

There are several folks whose writings and teachings have impressed me—they give honest, solid, actionable advice in their forums, ebooks, special reports, and membership sites. They truly understand that overnight success in affiliate marketing is rare; it usually takes hard work to build a well-respected, sustainable business.

What I haven’t seen any of them discuss in much detail is the subject of business management and administration. Stuff like bookkeeping, accounting, and taxes. How to choose the best legal structure for a company. How to set up an accounting system. How to understand and interpret the accounting data that gets tracked. How to choose a CPA, an attorney, and an insurance agent to help you.

Those subjects are the focus of the Business Startup Success Club.

I’m looking for a strategic alliance that will allow me to get my material out to the entrepreneurs who need the kind of help it provides. I see a collaborative effort with some of the top affiliate marketers (the ones who “get it”) as the way to accomplish this goal and provide benefit to everyone involved.

Some of the people who come to mind as possible partners include (in alphabetical order) Jimmy D. Brown, Nicole Dean, Rosalind Gardner, Susanne Myers, and Lynn Terry.
